Ski the Continental Divide at Wolf Creek, which has the most snow of any Colorado ski area, or try nearby Monarch, Crested Butte or Ski Cooper. Four New Mexico ski areas are also within a hundred miles: Angel Fire, Red River, Sipapu and the famed Taos Ski Valley. Closer to the property, try cross country skiing or snowmobiling for outdoor winter fun. Just as popular as skiing and other winter sports are the fishing and hunting in the area. According to locals, the finest Northern Pike and Rainbow Trout fishing in the region is here. In season, you can hunt duck, pheasant, grouse, wild turkey, deer, elk, bear and other wildlife - a sportsman's paradise! |
